热熔聚酯带又称自粘麦拉是由一层聚酯薄膜外加超薄的热熔胶(PET/GLUE)复合而成。热熔层在加温后（熔点约85℃）可以紧密与绝缘层或者护套层粘结，从而起到更好的绕包作用。
